Kalanki Ko Jam 2000

Mukti & Revival's first album Kalanki ko Jam was released in 2000, bringing an identifiably different turn in Nepali music scene. This album brought about a revolution in song writing and brought an absolutely different taste. There are many coming up bands today trying to write and sound like Mukti & Revival.
This album was also nominated for album of the year in National music awards 2001.

Kalanki ko Jam album is brilliantly done by fusing Nepali and Newari tunes and rhythm with soothing blues and powerful rock sound. The lyrics of the songs talks about the social issues and satire to the corrupt politicians of Nepal.

 
Bujhaie' deu 2003

Bujhaie' deu in Nepali means “please explain it to me.” The album was well appreciated by the desperate and frustrated Nepalis with the on going civil war within the country once so peaceful and beautiful.

This album also has the Nepali and Newari tunes fused with the western style of music. Prem Autari the flute giant did fine piece of flute solo on the Newari song Wa maya wa. Maria 's piano notes adds up essence in the color of the bands sound. her style in blues piano makes the band's sound complete. The lyrics of the songs makes any listener aware of the on going situation and think for the solution, to share a little hope for better tomorrow, pain and hardships Nepalis working in foreign lands are going through. This album “Bujhaie deu” is also nominated for the best rock album of the year 2003.
