Shreshta owns a reputed Beauty saloon and a barber shop (Siam Beauty
Saloon and Barber Shop). Siam beauty saloon has been operating
since 1979. She also manages a five star standard beauty
Saloon at Hotel Radisson, Kathmandu, a beauty saloon and a barber
shop in Thamel, and a beauty saloon in New Delhi, India, which is
also considered a first outlet by a Nepalese beautician outside the
country.
Kamala Shrestha is a also a
founder/principle of Siam Institute of hair design and beauty care.
The institute is first of its kind in Nepal duly approved by the
council of Technical Education and Vocational Training. Up to
date the institute have produced more than 2500 students. Most
of them are either working in Nepal or overseas in different
countries.
