Gwadar International Airport resembles Pokhara International Airport.

The Independent recently featured Pakistan’s gleaming new Gwadar International Airport — a $240 million project built with Chinese financing, still waiting for its first regular flights.

It happens to bear a strong resemblance to Nepal’s Pokhara International Airport, also built with Chinese support. Both feature a wave‑shaped roofline, sweeping glass facade, and similar modern styling, making them look like they could have come from the same blueprint.
