Seventh audition of Nepal Idol is from Kathmandu. Some of the contestants like Nishan Bhattarai, Sandhya Joshi, and Menuka Paudel got through the audition with ease with the execution of Nepali Tara Season 3 winner Pratap Lama. One of the judges, Nhyoo Bajracharya didn’t seem to be impressed with Pratap’s performance, and seemed to be irritated. Despite such attitude from Nhyoo, Pratap passed the audition. Indira Joshi who was one of the participants of Nepali Tara Season 1 was one of the judges judging Nepali Tara Title Holder.

Nhyoo Bajracharya, Indira Joshi and Kali Prasad Baskota are the judges for Nepal Idol, the first Idol franchise in Nepal. First audition round was from Pokhara, while second audition was from Nepalgunj. Third Episode was from Nepalgunj and the fourth episode was from Birgunj. Fifth round was from Biratnagar while the sixth audition was in Narayangarh. Nepal Idol is broadcasted by AP1 TV.
