“Degree Maila” marks a historic moment as the first Nepali film ever to have a box office screening in Arizona. Having already entertained audiences with over 470 shows across various cities, Patrick Subedi of 7 Seas Entertainment told Nepalisite that this film is set to make its debut at Harkins Theatre in Chandler Fashion Mall starting April 26th (Friday).

“Degree Maila MA 3rd Class” marks the latest directorial venture of Mr. Ram Babu Gurung, renowned for his work on the Kabaddi series. The film features a star-studded cast, including Dayahang Rai, Bijay Baral, Buddhi Tamang, Prakash Ghimire, and introducing the talented Aanchal Sharma.
Having premiered globally, the movie debuted with its first showing in Los Angeles on April 11, preceding its box office release in Nepal. Notably, Mr. Buddhi Tamang, one of the lead actors and comedians in the movie, attended the premiere at Starlight Cinema in Lakewood, California.
‘Degree Maila’ unfolds as a captivating comic tale that delves into the life of a man on a quest to find his place in society while longing for love and recognition. Amidst a whirlwind of trials and errors, he revolts against societal expectations and embraces personal aspirations that define his unique journey.
