Miss Nepal Universe 2018, Manita Devkota was among the 94 contestants that participated during Swimsuit and Evening Gown rounds. This was part of the preliminary round of Miss Universe that took place on Dec 13th, 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.

“The scores from the night’s event along with an interview portion will help determine the Semifinalists during the broadcast” wrote the organizers of Miss Universe on their Facebook post.

23 year old Manita Devkota raised the highest money in a Charity Auction in Miss Universe 2018 Nepal.
“As many of you know our auction gift to MU was a Buddhist Shadow box that Kayo helped me bring to reality. Our gift was one of the most popular auction items at last night’s event” she wrote on her Facebook post. “It was sold for 310,000 bhat ~ $9,600. I was shocked and internally jumping with joy. The Thai people love Nepal, it’s people and culture, and I was proud and honored to share our piece of heritage with them. I prey that the deep friendship between Thailand and Nepal continues to newer heights. Buddha Gift !”
